New Delhi, Nov 30: In the wake of the recent Mumbai terror attack which killed nearly 200 people and left more than 350 injured, India today called off its cricket team's tour to Pakistan scheduled to be held early next year.
Team India was to play 3 Tests, 5 ODIs and a Twenty20 in January next year.

These stern measures are being taken by the Indian government owing to intelligence reports that the terrorists, who unleashed mindless bloodbath in the commercial capital of India and killed hundreds of innocent people, were from Pakistan, highly-place sources said.

The possibility of a neutral venue, which had been proposed in case the security in Pakistan was not up to the mark, had also been ruled out outright, the sources added.
